Final drilled the vertical stabilizer front mounting plate to the horizontal stabilizer. Finish riveting the upper portion of the bracket before installation. On to the control sticks front an rear mounting bushings. I used the belt sander to taper the end of the brass bushings for the control stick mounts. Installed with little play involved in thro action. Pic 1 shows the reattached vertical stabilizer to the horizontal. I rechecked the side measurements to the strings for centering before I final drilled in place. Installed the vertical to horizontal front bracket with bolts an remeasured. All OK!!!!. I installed the forward and rear controls with pushrods/ rear control mount/ rod bearings. I then installed the elevator control bell crank and the rear push rod to elevator horn. I adjusted the rod end bearings with the elevators clamped to neutral position. Pushrods were set to proper position with control sticks vertical, I removed the elevator clamps to check movement and degree of travel. The down elevator has 26.5 degrees of travel. The up travel of the elevators is 22.5 degrees. Will have to trim the elevator stop. Plans state travel to be within 25-30 degrees
