Brief Description: Leveled fuselage, prepped for empennage install
Proceeded to level fuselage both for and aft, side to side. Afterwards, sit horizontal on aft deck and checked for level. Needed to fabricate a 22guage shim for the right side which brought the horizontal level. I used a digital level. lt zeroed out after shim was in place. I then placed a 3/16 drill bit as per plans under the rear horizontal spar an checked front to back degree of level. Front to back was zero on digital level. I drilled the aft plates and forward splice angle and clecoed on. Rechecked level, all was still zeroed out. Could not drill the inside forward holes. I needed a longer #12 drill bit. One was ordered. I installed required bolts in holes that were drilled.
