Brief Description: Painting aileron stripes and wingtips
Application of the green trim paint to the ailerons and wingtip.
Unfortunately, I had some issues with the finish. The morning looked perfect for a little paint work, but a few minutes after I started spraying the wind came up and the formerly clear looking sky turned overcast/marine-layer/humid and generally crappy. The finish of the paint was affected, looking like the paint was applied in a windy, humid environment (crap in the finish, dull finish etc).
I will have to wet-sand and repaint the parts, but that may have to wait a few days as the weather-guessers are calling for rain and thunder-storms with gusty winds for the next 2 to 3 days. Hey, this is drought-plagued Southern California. It is supposed to be 78 degrees and 20% humidity this time of year.
