Brief Description: Assemble propeller hub and blades
Today's project is fitting the propeller spinner and backing plate. To do this I first needed to temporarily install the propeller unit. I am using a Warp Drive 3-bladed prop unit.
The S7 uses a 1" spacer unit between the propeller hub and the gear reduction unit. The prop hub is fastened with 6 bolts inserted through a crush-plate.
I first had to assemble the prop unit. The three blades are clamped in between the two halves of the propeller hub. Each blade has 4-bolts. The photos below show the hub and blade ends going together, as well as the crush plate and three of the six main attach bolts.
