Brief Description: Radiator and coolant line installation
Today I installed the radiator and the coolant lines.
The radiator is fastened to the firewall with small brackets and to the engine mount with a long rod/bracket. The coolant lines (hose) makes a significant bend on both sides of the engine. A coiled spring is inserted into the hose to keep it from collapsing at the bends. Both hoses also need chafe protection from the motor mount. I've included photos of the radiator mounting brackets and the chafe-guard on the right side.
Getting the springs in just the right location was a trial and error process, as were the chafe guards.
