Getting ready to start the engine
I put 3 Quarts of Moble 1 oil in the oil tank and it filled it to the top. I was not expecting that because Viking told me it would hold 3.5 quarts. Once the engine is run a few minuets, I'll check it again.
I got 5 gallons of Premium Unleaded Non-ethanol Gasoline and filled the fuel tank for the first time. I then jumped the battery contactor and turned on the Viking main switch and ran the fuel pump till gas came out of the fuel hose into a bucket. Then ran the back up fuel pump. I then clamped the fuel hose to the Fuel Rail and ran the pump till the pump pressurized the fuel Rail. I hit the Starter a couple of times to turn the prop.
