Separating and Extending Wires
Once I mounted the Power Buss to the Avionics Tray, I separated the wire bundles and laid them in the direction they will go and started lacing them into a wire harness.
I now had to move all the switches to the panel area. Since I was not tied to the LSX center panel anymore, I decided to install the switches to where I originally wanted them, the left side wing panel. I could not put them there before, because the Viking Power Buss assembly would not fit behind that area. But now that the switches have to be separated from the buss anyway, now I can put the switches where I want. WOO HOO!
I made extension wires and pulled one wire from a switch and installed a extension wire one at a time so I would not mix up the wires and plug a wire in the wrong terminal.
I extended the Key Switch first.
