Reversing the Throttle Part 1
The SeaRey with a Rotax Engine uses two motorcycle type throttle cables attached to the top of the Throttle Arm and pulls the cable to open the throttle on the Rotax twin carburetors. The Viking Throttle uses an automotive type cable and needs to be pushed to open the throttle at the engine. One SeaRey builder got a longer cable and looped the cable from the back of the cockpit to the front of the Throttle Arm to get it to push the throttle open. One SeaRey builder moved the throttle cable attachment on the Viking Engine on the other side to reverse the pull to push. This was posted on the Viking Engine website and looked like a good ideal.
Cut and cleaned a piece of aluminum
Drilled holes inline with existing screws
Used spacers to stand off the extension from the Throttle arm
