Happy New Year

Temporarily Installed the Windshield

I decided to stop messing with the wiring and get Jim Ratte of Recreational Mobility to finish up the wiring and check out the plane before I go to the next step.
He is not available till the end of the month, so to keep busy, I wanted to work on the Canopies. But to do the Canopies, the Windshield has to be mounted.

I temporarily installed the Forward Deck and riveted the Upper Canopy Track Support to the Windshield Tube.

I placed the Windshield on the Deck and Windshield Tube and drilled a 3/16" hole in the bottom "V" of the windshield and deck and cleco it. When I started to shape the windshield to the deck, I noticed the bottom of the windshield did not extend to the groove on the deck on the left side.
I knew PA would not replace it, so I arranged it so it was the same gap on both sides and trimmed it where it went to far into the groove on the left side after I moved it to even it out.
I drilled the rest of the bottom holes and cleco the bottom of the windshield.
