Installing the OAT Probe

For some reason I ended up with 2 Outside Air Temperature Probes. One had 2 wires and one with 3 wires, I wasn't sure what the 3 wire probe was to plug into, but I did know the 2 wire one plugged into the Dynon ADAHRS.
Before I drilled two holes for two probes, I asked Jim Ratte and Scott Swett if they knew why their was 2, and Jim said I only need one, and Scott said he had 2 also, but he used the same list of what to order from Aircraft Spruce as I did. I got the list from PA.
So I drilled one hole in the center on the bottom side of the Gap Seal between the wings and installed the OAT Probe. I ran the wire down the Pylon and up the front, but the wires were to short. I spliced in a couple of feet of AWG 20 wire and plugged into to ADAHRS. I turned on the SkyVeiw and saw the OAT temp on the screen. 68 Degrees, I covered the probe with my fingers and the temp went up to 72. It works.
