Checking the Landing Gear
Since the gear wiring was installed, I had not tried the gear, so I got out the jack and stands and lifted the plane. I tried the gear switch and heard the ratcheting of the gear motors and knew the gear wire were on backwards. I reversed the connection and tried the switch again. It worked perfectly. I checked it a few times and then installed the plastic wire connection covers on the motor connection and snapped them together.
