Making a Backing Plate
I saw this at PA when I went there to get a tracing of there instrument panels, and saw a plane in construction. I did not know they did this but thought it was a good ideal. They had aluminum frames behind the fiberglass LSX Instrument Panel Dash to hold the rivet nuts that hold the front panels on. Since I made two of each of the panels incase I screwed any up, I had extras to make the frame with. I cut the inside of the extra left side wing panel and made a backing frame and installed it.
