Wiring for a Viking Part 9
Viking has on their Wiring Diagram to make up this Diode connection on the Battery Contactor between the battery side connection and the switch connector to keep Contactors from arcing internally when switched on.
This picture from a post on the Viking website shows the stripe side goes to the larger ring terminal
After a first failed attempt, I remembered to put the heat shrink tube on before crimping both ends
Now just waiting for the switch wire to finish this part of the battery wiring
