I installed the Air Speed Indicator in the sub-panel and tried to install it, but it didn't fit. And no matter how I moved it around, it hit the top of the dash
I called PA and asked what Aircraft Spruce part number ASI they used, and it was the same as mine. I don't understand why theirs fit in the same spot and mine don't.
I had planed on the 3-1/8" instrument to be down there and the two 2-1/4" instruments on the top of the middle sub-panel for a uniform look, but now its all screwed up.
I used the hole punch to cut a 3-1/8" and a 2-1/4" hole in the top of the middle sub-panel and installed the Compass and the ACI where the Clock was going to go.
It hits the top of the dash

2-1/4" compass and 3-1/8" ASI. Not the clock I wanted.
