Tell me I can't have that

I am not the type that would camp out at the BestBuy the night before Black Friday to save $200. on a Flat Screen TV. But tell me I can't have something I want will just make me get it any way I can.
I saw the Aveo RockRack Switches and got a brochure at Sun-n-Fun years ago and just filed it away with my SeaRey brochures for reference for my future build.
I never looked into the pricing till a couple of weeks ago when I started to gather up Avionics for my panel.
I was shocked at the total. Aveo sells the switches as components that you buy separately to make up the custom switch you want. The switch tops came in 10 packs that may only have one or two tops you need, so you end up buying 3 different 10 packs (30 switch tops) to make 8 switches. A big waste of money. But it was the only way to buy the switches. It turns out that you end up after all the components you buy to make an order for 8 to 12 switches, you pay about $40. a switch. That was a big deterrent.
But the thing about Aircraft Interiors is that everything has to be labeled, so if the switch has no markings to tell what it does, It has to have a label applied to the panel next to the switches. I did not want to go that route and finding another switch that was labeled led to similar prices but not as nice a look. So I placed an order through Aircraft Spruce only to find out that they did not have all the components I needed to fill the order and that most of the missing components were unavailable. It seems that Aveo stopped making the switches and what was in inventory is all there is.
I got on the Internet and searched all the distributors that sold Aveo RockRack and between a Canadian and US dealers and Aircraft Spruce, I got enough of the components to make 12 switches with some spare parts left over.
