Bummed about the Paint Job
I saw the bubbles in the paint when I first saw the wing after they painted it white on Tuesday, I had hoped they would settle out, but the blue that was done the next day just made it worse. The painter said its the fabric lifting off the Fiberglass Wing Tip, and other SeaReys had the same thing happen at the Fiberglass Wing Tip area. I think its the Paint that bubbling off the fabric. The only way to know is to stick a needle in it. The owner refuses to take responsibility nor do anything about it. I have seen a lot of paint jobs from this shop and others and I don't remember seeing this before. I will go to PA and look at some of the other SeaReys that they painted to see if any of them has the same issues.
