Installing Bushings Part 1
I saw posts on the Searey Tech Site about the holes in the Aluminum Tubing that bolts went through, that had moving parts attached to had elongated with wear. Some Searey Builders had installed Bushings to keep that from happening. I thought that was a good ideal. I got the web site from Bill Starkey who had done the modification and ordered the Bushings and got it in 2 days. I drilled the 1/4" holes out to 3/8" and pushed in the Bushings. Flanged Bushings for the Boom Tube and Sleeve Bushings for the Horn.
