After PA told me that the hull was structurally ok despite the poor job on the seam and I was not getting a new hull, I decided to install a KeelGuard to hide the Keel seam. I taped off the area that I did not want to sand the gell coat off of and sanded the Keel with the provided sanding pad. I then cleaned the area and installed the KeelGurad. The color matched the hull perfectly and it looks better than the wavy Keel seam.
