Brief Description:  FAB Airbox

This has taken probably 3-4 days, but I am summing it up today. Make the cutout for the protrusion for the carburator fuel pump in the air filter and use RTV to fill up the hole and make an air tight setup. Since you have to take the pieces apart as you go it is important to make index marks so you can find the original position. The red RTV is really messy to work with. I used duck tape inside the filter to hold the red RTV in place. It is also important to coat the aluminum and parts of the carburator that comes in contact with the RTV with auto grease. This is important so that you can take the whole assembly apart once the silicon dried. I belive I will have a tight seal even if it does not look pretty. On the 3rd picture you can see the dried RTV after I removed the carburator. The seal looks pretty good (might have to do some additional fill in).
