Brief Description: Test fit alternator pices on the engine
Test fit the alternator to the engine block. It appears that there is not enough movement of the alternator to engage the VA-152 arm. At Van's suggestion I files off a little from the rear mounting arm (gold color) where it touches the base bracket. This allowed abit more movement. At full up position the alternator comes very close (1/8") to the prop control oil line (see picture 3).
