Brief Description: Reassemble carburator with air box
Earlier I had to take apart the carburetor air box assembly because of an AD (Terry did the update). Today I reversed the process and at the same time I installed new base plate for the carburetor. I don't want to seal this until I am sure the alignment with the air intake is OK. I also repainted some of the air box parts. At this point I don’t have an alternate air door. The way the carburetor assembly is designed VANS do not provide an easy way to do this. I have some ideas, but this will have to wait after the aircraft is completed.
