Took off the carburator from the engine with the idea of re-thinking the alternate air door option. After considerable research I decided to temporarily elliminating the air door since I did not like the way my solution sealed of unfiltered air from the carb. I decided I will revisit this problem after the airplne has flown 25 hours and put into regular service.
