I decided to install the ANL Current Limiter on the engine side of the firewall, right of the battery, and used a #2 fat wire to connect it to the switched side of the battery relay. The other side of the current limiter goes to the alternator wit a #6 cable.The current limiter will blow if the current would increase above 60Amps This configuration will lowe noise on the instrument side of the firewall. The location if the current limiter is such that I will be able to replace it quite easily by removing the upper cowl. The idea here is that if the current limiter blows the alternator is toast and will be unusable. Land before the battery runs down (as soon as possible).
