Trim right fiberglass elevator tip to fit elevator. When installed there is a 1/2" overlap between the tip and the elevator skin. There is a shallow indent all around the edge of the tip; the 1/2" is measured from this indent mark. I cut the tip to this dimension and the fit looks good. I could not push the tip forward enough so I will have to use a light thickness of fiberglass fill to make it look better.
