This process took about 3 days. I worked off and on during this period for about 10 hours. Take off the C-762 Canopy Slide Rail, the C-677 Rear Pin Mounts and the C-657 Canopy Tracks. Polish the visible parts of the above components. Prime the bottom of the Canopy Slide Rail and the contact area of the fuselage skin. Prime the bottom of the Canopy Tracks. Prime the entire surface of the Rear Pin Mounts except the outside surface; this was polished. Polishing was very slow and tireing. Install the mounting screws for Canopy Tracks. Took about 2.5 hours. The bolt locations are behind the flange and very difficult to get to. Had to use some sticky grease on my finger to position the nuts and once started I used a bent bicycle wrench (I made this) to tighten them. Install the mounting crews for the Canopy Slide Rail. Install the Rear Pin Mounts. Protect the polished surfaces with tape. Install the canopy/canopy frame and recheck for alignment. Good fit and slides easy.
