Figured out a way to build a jig to drill the compound angle into the plastic canopy hold down block. To do this I decided I will trust the angles in the VAN's manual. Cut a V shaped cradle with one side at an angle of 23 degrees to the base of the jig and the other at 90 degrees to this line. The base will rest on the base of the vise. The other angle is set by rotatating the table of the vise on the drill press. This actually worked out pretty good on a woden block the I tries to drill. To make it work I had to change the drill press table angle to about 7 degrees from 5 degrees as depicted by the manual. Tomorrow will drill the plastic blocks.
