Today started work on laying out the static lines. Figured out the approximate length of the 1/8 plastic tube that connects the static ports on the left and right side of the fuselage. I run the tube along the lower flange of the F-708 fuselage bulkhead assembly. Drilled 5 #30 holes just above the flange and used a 4 ply waxed string to tie the tube to the bulkhead. Cut two pieces of 2" polyflow tube (1/4") and cut the 1/8" tube on the left side of the bulkhead. Inserted both ends of the cut 1/8" tube about 3/8" inside the 1/4" polyflow tube as per instructions that came with the static port kit. This is extremely tedious and time consuming job due to the tight quarters inside the fuselage. I feel like a contorsionist. Used lots of plywood, pillows, blankets to pad myself and the fuselage. This is pretty painful on my body so I will continue tomorrow.
