Drill #28 holes for K1000-6 plate nuts along lower edge of the panel frame for attaching PA-1 Reinforcement Angle to the frame (AN507-6R8 screws). Drill rivet holes for K1000-6 platenuts on PA-1 Angle. Rivet K1000-6 and K1000-8 platenuts to Reinforcement angle. The K1000-8 platenuts are used to fasten panel plates to the frame at a later time(see 10/14/04 entry). Drill and deburr the pre-punched rivet holes for the K1000-8 platenuts and rivet them to the frame. These platenuts are used to fasten the panel plates to the frame. Install platenuts on the pre-punched holes used to attach the F-7103B and F-7103C attach angles and counter sink the screw holes for AN509-8R8 screws. This will make the frame removable even after the skin is installed. Test fit everything together. Had to adjust both the F-7103C L&R Attach angles to clear some of the platenuts on the frame by cutting out clearance holes for the platenuts. These were time consuming, but minor modifitations. the instument panel frame is now ready for priming and installation.
