Brief Description: Finish left elevator trailing edge
Draw fastener line on upper surfave of the trailing edge wedge 1/4 inch aft of the forward edge. Place trailing edge between elevator skins and position it so that the fastener line is centeres in the pre-punched holes in the upper skin. Match drill #40 through the prepunched holes through the AEX wedge. Used an angle guide for the drilling. Must drill perpendicular to the elevator cord plane. Also match drilled the overlapping stiffeners just outboard of the trim tab, using the pre-punched holes in the E-908-R stiffener. Used #30 drill. Taken apart the elevator, deburred the drilled holes and dimpled the skin. Dimpled the holes in the E-908-R stiffeners for CS-4-4 rivets. Machine countersunk the on both side of the AEX wedge.
