Brief Description: Crotch Strap Installation - Pilot side
Once the aft crotch strap bracket is drilled and clecoed (see yesterday's record) I located the aft face of the F-7117A forward crotch strap bracket 1/8" from the front face of F-7117B bracket. I used two 1/8"thick aluminum plates (spacers) as shown in the pictures. I made sure that the top flange of the forward bracket is flush with the flange of the seat rib, then clamped it to the seat rib (see pitures) and match drilled into the seat rib and clecoed the two pieces together. All this is very difficult because of the tight space available.
