Today was a slow day. I drilled out the 4 corner holes on the mounting plate for a 6-32 screw. I decided to use black screws, because I will paint the mounting plate black. Didn't have the right length screws in my inventory so had to pick longer screws and cut them down to about 1/2 inch for a proper fit. I called ACK Technologies to make sure that the Audio Alert Indicator will not cause interference with the other instruments in my panel. The answer was no. They also suggested that I will be able to mount the Audio Alert Indicator under the RCPI unit with Velcro. So, this is what I will do (makes connecting the two a breeze).
