Drill and form the ¾” fingers on both sides of the main gear leg fairing. These fingers will be used to clamp the top of the fairing to the gear leg. I stop drilled the two cutout slots on the fairing using #30 drill, then cut out the slots using a sharp metal saw thus forming the tie down fingers (see pictures). I repeated this for both fairing and on both side of the fairing. During fitting a larger area is cut out for the clamp screws as marked by the red outline on the pictures.
