Brief Description: Insall fiberglass along the roll bar
Today is the big day I was scared of; fiber glassing the windscreen over the roll bar. I went ahead and used a generous amount of mold release paste on the vinyl tape over the front edge of the canopy. Made a prayer and installed 3 layers of fiberglass cloth using the West System epoxy (105 & 206). Actually it came out really good. I also added 3 layers of glass at the two lower corners of the windscreen. I had to cut a contoured shape to fit the radius of the tape. Now, tomorrow will find out if the canopy will release, if not I will have a nice display airplane without access to the cockpit.
