Decided to make the fit as close as possible. Mixed up filler material and epoxy to soft peanut butter consistency, spread it along the segments of the fairing where the fit was not perfect ( two spots on the left side of the vertical stabilizer, see picture Fuse800). Put packing tape and mold release on the vertical stabilizer and clecoed on the fairing. Have to wait until tomorrow for the epoxy to set up. This squized out the excess epoxy mix giving a perfect fit between the fairing and the vertical stabilizer. Drill and treat (6-32) two screw holes on the back of the empennage as per picture. These screws will fasten the fairing along the inspection plate. I also spent some time to understand the GRT Sport EFIS setup procedure. Temporarily installed the Gramin 496 GPS and checked it's functioning.
