Brief Description: FL-760 harnes to Headphone jacks
Tonight I tried to complete the molex connectors on the headphone leads from the radio and the mating molex connectors from the headphone/mic jacks. I really am surprised how much time wiring takes to design and implement.
At one point, I mapped out the 15 pin sub-D connector with the corresponding cable and the color of the wire. Then I discovered I forgot to solder the PTT line into the connector. Now the clam shell really is packed tight with cables.
The real challenge will be the microphone connections with the push-to-talk in the circuit.
I will test the headsets this weekend before continuing with the microphones.
