I decided to install the pitot tube before installing the instrument panel to ensure access to the front of the cabin.
Pitot Tube is located on the aircraft centerline (Buttock Line Zero), and approximately 2 5/8” above the fuel cell lid. This is the optimum position to see “undisturbed air’. I used a laser level to find the center spot.
Drilled a 3/8” hole at the center spot plus 2.6" and screwed inthe pitot tube base..
