Originally I borrowed an engine stand to hang the EJ25 on. The only work that can be done with it on a engine stand, it to mount the alternator. Then the work occurs on the opposite side of the engine where it is mounted. I put the engine back on the crate stand and lifted it to my bench so I could continue to work. I did not plan to hang the engine on the frame at this time, because I wanted to repaint the frame from yellow to dark blue and with it setup, I could continue to work.
