I received the new MLG strut upgrade from GBA. This replacement part will double the wall thickness of the donut strut from .065 to .120.
Drilling the holes was difficult. The metal is hard and nothing less that sharp drill bits will work. I broke several bits but eventually I got the job done. Next it to paint the struts.
