Brief Description: Transponder Check and seal fuel tanks
Today was a great day. Rex Prickett from Mustang Transponder Services, LLC came over to the house to verify the Garman 320A with the Tal-com encoder worked correctly. I had plumbed the encoder to the pitot tube which was a mistake but quickly corrected. The setup worked perfectly.
Next I filled up the fuel tank with 1 gallon of gas at a time. The GX2 show 0% for empty and only 38% for full tanks. The resistance values for the float were 7 - 88 ohms which should have been closer to 100% which full. However, the empty value was the most important to me,
Next I drained the fuel tanks and sealed the tanks with PROSEAL and gaskets. I will give it time to set up before filling the tanks again.
