My battery would not turn over the engine, so I jumped it using my truck. With the lead on the battery, it would not work. When I disconnected the positive lead and put the jumper cable on it, it worked fine. I'm thinking the battery is not working correctly. It was in storage for 5 years before I put the acid in it. Wondering if there is a shelf life.
I took the battery to the AutoZone store to test the battery. They will trickle charge it over night.
