Had a rather warm Saturday here so took advantage of the comfortable temps to get started on setting up shop. My lovely wife helped me carry the crated rudder, stabilizer and elevator down to the basement. The crates and climate controlled environment will preserve them until I'm ready to work with them again.
Spent the better part of the the two days unpacking more boxes of work shop stuff, moving benches, setting up work table and otherwise starting the organization process for having a usable shop. My current plan is to keep the work table in the 3rd garage stall along with the rest of the tools and equipment. I find it interesting that these kind of projects tend to evolve after getting started rather than culminate in an end product that was envisioned before starting. I'm sure move evolution will take place after sleeping on it a few nights between each successive work session. Next step will be to purchase and hang a new pegboard then get tools organized.
