My prroject is not dead but it has been a while since my last post due to my career transition. I have taken a new job back in Michigan which means . . . well, a lot of things. Asside from prepping house for sale, searching for housing in Michigan, getting kids registered for school, bla, bla, bla there's there's the task of prepping the shop and airplane parts for the move. I built a crate for the Corvair block out of some left over 3/4" plywood but elected to have the rudder, stab, and elevator packed by a professional crating company who came to my home this morning. Mike and Chuck from Tejas Packing did a fantastic job on the crates which include indicators that will show if the boxes get dropped or tipped by the movers. Considering all of the time I have into these parts this is money well spent, especially since they will be going into storage until we have located a new home which I hope will have a 3rd car stall or out-garage to continue work on the 650.
