- Located and drilled servo holes cleocing servo to top of skin to verify fit.
- Cut servo access hole in bottom skin.
Tip: The access hole is primarily designed for service and inspection of the actuator-to-clevis attachment. However, the specified fore/aft location (140mm from rear edge) places the actuater rod under the skin. This should be located 10 to 20mm further aft (130 to 120mm instead of the specifed 140mm) in order to provide easier access to this attachment.

- Located and drilled pilot holes in cover plate.
- Match drilled plate to bottom skin.
- Cut length of "L" angle for doubler. Joggled top of rear end to go under hinge and channel.
- Located and pilot drilled doubler holes in top skin.
- Match drilled doubler.
- Test fit servo, cover plate, doubler
- Disassembled the entire elevator assembly. Cleaned parts with detergent, simple green and maroon aluminum oxide pad.
- Cleaned up work area and layed out parts for priming
