Cut off nose of end rib form with band saw to create a 300mm center rib form. Finish sanded the new end up to the 300mm line, routed 1/8" radius on edge then sanded 10 degree spring-back angle. Rough cut two pieces of 1/4" green HDF board to serve as backers for a "rib sandwich".
6/25/11: Discovered that I located and cut the block in the wrong location causing center ribs to have incorrect dimensions. Paying closer attention to the plans I noted that 19mm of the rear should have been marked/removed before measuring out the 300mm length to the front end. Will use the backer block as a template to trace a new form block making sure to cut in correct locations and also locate the crimp detents properly, measuring from the new end. The devil's in the details.
