Brief Description:  New Nose Rib Block, Doublers, Strap

This morning I trimmed the 33 degree angle on the vertical spar doublers using snips.

The strip left over from the doublers was used to create 6T3-8.

I cut the oak nose rib form block on the band saw then sanded the edges using the Craftsman. However, the crip detents required more advanced methods than previously employed which led me to the purchase in my next entry. Image 2 shows the oak block (bottom) compared to the original MDF block. I used the 1/2" spindle angled at 30 degrees. Since the form block edges were already sanded to 10 degress this amounted to 20 degree notches relative to the beveled sides.
