Unrolled the 0.040" sheet and cut a 93 X 900 blank from which to form the two 6T4-5 doublers. From other builders' logs I've noted that these are difficult to bend without bowing unless you have extra material to keep it rigid. The bend-line length was calculated at 17.41 to give a 19mm side. The bends came out straight and with a little finessing I was able to make the bend angles exactly 84.5 degrees.
After laying out a rivet line on my nose rib I was concerned that the front portion of my flange may not be wide enough to accept a rivet. So, rather than take a chance I'm going to make a 3rd rib, this time using new form blocks made from solid oak because my MDF block was deforming at the crimp detents.
