Got a text from Dane at 6:40am- "you awake". " I am now" was my repy. We had planned to go to SNF tomorrow but weather didn't look good (SVR TRWs), so it was "Scramble, Scramble - this is not a drill. Launch Alert 5". We were airborne in less than an hour.
It was great spending the day putting faces to names from all the phone converstions.
This was a good call to change plans- less than 24 hours after we touched down at FFC from SnF we were under a Tornado Watch with heavy rain and lighting everywhere.
