Brief Description:  Body Work- aka door rework

The left door turned out good during intial install. The right not so good. I followed the directions, but the scribe lines must have been off. When comparing left and right door hinges, the right bolts are about 1/4" more inboard which translates the door outboard. I knew this earlier, but thought I could use fairing filler to fix. Don't like how that truned out.

Removed hinges and trimmed top door edge by almost 3/8". With door lock engaged as a fixed position, trimmed door to fit. May trim more. Was able to remove most of the excess filler.

Called Van's to discuss door/hinge holes and they agreed that redrilling hinges made more sense than reworking fiberglass door. Parts sent to a friend who is good with a TIG welder.

Continued sanding body work around window seams.

Finished drilling interior body panels so they could all go to the painter.
