Today, with the help of Neal Pannel (Rv-7a) and John Goodman (Rv-10), the cabin cover was permanately installed.
Applied a layer of flocked epoxy to door frames. Set cabin cover in place and clecoed to fuselage. Installed and torqued door frame screws and nuts. Then, using CS-4-4 rivets, riveted cabin cover to side fuselage skins.
Followed up with several pots of flocked epoxy to fill door frame opening gaps.
Finished the day by cleaning out the garage, but that required it stand on its own two feet. It only has the mains installed for a reason, but that answer will have to wait till later.
