Brief Description: Cowling Day #30/ Baffles Day #48
Finished reinstalling left forward ramp. Right ramp significantly stiffer, but left ramp still too much play on inboard side right at cylinder- have a fix in mind.
Fabricated mockup of secondary exhaust out of mild steel. Will fly up to AWI in MSP friday to get it welded out of 321 SS.
Deburred, countersunk, and riveted 3 of 4 cowling lateral hinge pins. 4th needed filler before riveting.
Glassed in an extension to inlet air ramps to prevent air from escaping. Will need more layers.
Sanded upper cowling and then added more filler--I'm having flashbacks to the cabin cover because of this.
